Assistant Contracts Manager – 12 Month Internship/ Placement

Get an immersive introduction into contract management with one of the South’s leading, high-end residential building firms during a 12-month internship/placement.

What you’ll do

You will assist our established team of experienced Site Based Contracts Managers with the ongoing management of a high-quality bespoke building project by providing support with the day-to-day running of the project.

You will gain on-site exposure and experience assisting with the management of works on site, under the supervision of experienced site Managers You will also assist the design team and quantity surveyor with the co-ordination of their designs to enable efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the project.

  • Building relationships, having a team focus and collaborating with all kinds of people (including tradespeople (employees & sub-contractors), our management team, and Client Representatives) is how you get things done.
  • Having great communication, organisational and IT skills (MS 365 – Word, Excel; Outlook) ensures you meet your goals.
  • You will need to have a full UK driving licence and your own car as travel to site is essential.
  • You will have eligibility to work in the UK.

You will start with a general induction, including Health & Safety and will benefit from a mix of on-the-job learning and courses.

You will have networking and learning opportunities from our management team and experienced construction and site managers and quantity surveyors.

You’ll have opportunities for continuous learning and people to support you during your time with us so that you are well-prepared for your future.

Working alongside our team, you’ll work on a client project to give you the best insight into what we are about.

Upon successful completion of your 12-month internship/placement, you could have the opportunity of future employment following your studies.

Moulding’s portfolio of works is mainly focused upon listed property renovation. However, with intelligent design and constant evolution many of the company’s projects involve new build works and the adoption of modern construction techniques and materials to overcome many challenging buildability factors associated with listed property works.

 We are looking for a student who is studying construction or contract management and who is collaborative and has the motivation to make a positive impact for their clients.
